"It was just another concert to A Beautiful Noise - The Neil Diamond Musical, even though it was New Year's in NYC. The music, of course, was unbelievable - but that's what happens when you can play any of 50+ songs & still disappoint some fans that you didn't play x, y, z.
No interaction with the audience as usual... ala Dylan. He just took a bow every now & then to catch his breath.
FYI Stevie Nicks sang with Deer Tic in the Brooklyn Bowl, but there were no guest appearances.
This was not worth the price of admission when you charge a New Year's eve premium. Just another concert with his great music."
